I lovely spend 10 nights in Hersonissos. The rooms were new-fashioned and stocked, had smoke detectors for safety. This accommodation had a central setting in the outskirts in an amazing oazis place. It was also just next door to market, a snaking footpath and the Capital of Crete, Heraklion.
